Life Events & Hire
Weddings, funerals and hall hire
We can help you arrange a wedding or funeral at St Philips, or enquire about using our hall.
Read about the options below, then contact the parish office to discuss what you have in mind.
An enquiry does not reserve a date or confirm a booking.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Planning your occasion
Find out about weddings, funerals and hall hire, and the steps before a booking is confirmed.

We would be pleased to talk with you about holding your wedding at St Philips. Please get in touch with your preferred date and a few details about your plans, so we can discuss the service and check availability.
The current wedding package is $1,300, including hall use. A non-refundable administration fee of $250 is payable on booking, with the remaining $1,050 due four weeks before the wedding. Extra time or musicians may carry a separate charge. The parish office will confirm the details with you.
The booking process begins with an enquiry and a conversation with clergy. We will then provide the current wedding policy and application. A date is confirmed once the booking requirements and any required approvals are complete.
To enquire: email the parish office, copying Rob and Kieran, or call 08 9385 1042. The parish office coordinates the practical arrangements.

We are sorry for your loss. If you would like to arrange a funeral at St Philips, we can talk through the service and practical arrangements with you or your funeral director.
Please contact the parish office if a date has not yet been arranged. There is no need to choose a date before beginning a conversation.
The standard funeral package is $1,050, including a non-refundable booking fee of $200. The clergy fee of $400 is waived for regular members of St Philips. We will confirm the fees and any additional arrangements with you or your funeral director before the booking is finalised.
The church does not provide refreshments. Please discuss any proposed hall use separately with the parish office.
To enquire: email the parish office, copying Rob and Kieran, or call 08 9385 1042. The parish office coordinates the practical arrangements.

If you are looking for a space for a private gathering or community activity, please tell us about your proposed use and preferred date. We will check whether the space is suitable and available, then explain the fees and booking requirements.
Tell us the activity, number of people and preferred date and times, including setup and pack-down.
We will review your request and confirm the proposed arrangements and fee.
Complete the current hire agreement and any required insurance or approval steps. Your booking is confirmed by the parish office once the requirements are complete.
The current hall hire agreement sets out the conditions of use, payment, access and responsibilities. Some activities require evidence of public liability insurance or further approval. Please ask if you are unsure which requirements apply.
An enquiry does not reserve a room or confirm a booking.
To enquire: office@stphilips.net.au or 08 9385 1042.
-
Start by contacting the parish office with your proposed date, activity and space requirements. Please include the time you need for setting up and packing down.
We will check availability and any requirements, explain the fees and provide the relevant policy, application or agreement.
The parish office will confirm the booking once the agreed requirements are complete. Sending an enquiry or making a payment does not by itself confirm a booking.
If your date or arrangements change, please contact the office so we can review them with you.
-
The parish office will confirm the fees, included spaces and hours, and any additional arrangements before your booking is finalised. All amounts shown here are in Australian dollars.
For hall hire, please ask for the fee that applies to your proposed use. The current hall hire agreement governs the hire and sets out payment, access and responsibilities.
We will provide the relevant wedding policy and application, funeral information or current hall hire agreement during the enquiry process.
Payment is by bank transfer using the instructions and reference supplied privately by the parish office. The office checks receipt before recording payment. Please discuss changes, cancellations or any special arrangements with the office.
